A Little Dash of Christmas Cheer

This card, uses what is possibly one of my favourite bugaboo stamps ever. I know so many people this is appropriate for, I'll have a hard time deciding which one of them to send it too! lol!

I coloured the image with my promarkers, of course. Used papers from dovecraft's back to basics pack and layered it on red card. The poinsettia, was cut using my cameo and I finished it with a few gems and a sentiment from Digital Delights by loubyloo.

I'm submitting this for:
- Fussy and Fancy Challenge #123 - Main Colour Red
- Crafting By Designs - Get Ready for Christmas
- Simon Says - Anything Goes

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

I took a ridiculously long time to make this card yesterday, as I kept getting distracted by everything! Oops!

I used paper from Kaiser Craft. The images are from the Caroler Accessories set and the sentiment from Magical Winter Sentiments, both from Digital Delights by loobyloo! Cut the cat and dog out, coloured them and the lamp post with my promarkers and inked a bit around the edges of the lamp post. Layered all my papers up on red card from the paper mill shop. Cut the sentiment and the snowflake frame with my cameo. And finally added a few gems to finish.

I'm submitting this for:

Celebrate!

I just love this Bugaboo image... I can picture so many of my friends when I look at it ;)

I coloured the image with my promarkers and used papers from First Edition's j'adore pack, layered on dark red card. The sentiment was cut with my cameo and the gems - I forgot I even had them, lol! Usually I go for the 2/3mm ones by default and only remembered at the last minute that these were in my stash because it didn't look right with smaller gems.

I'm submitting this to:

- Sketch 'N Stash #146 - Sketch
- Little Miss Muffet - Anything Goes
- Brown Sugar Challenge - #111 - Celebrations

Cherry Blossoms

Another quick CAS card for the day. The minute I saw this gorgeous cut file from Birds Cards, I knew I had to use it, so it was at the top of my list the minute my cameo arrived... can't believe it took me four days to use it really, lol!

The card was cut in black and I layed white card behind it. I cut the flowers in pink and added them, with some gems. The sentiment is stamped in black ink, from the Marion Emberson Designs - On Your Special Day set.

I'm submitting this card for:
- Addicted to CAS #47 - Codeword: Oriental
- CAS on Sunday #41 - Black & White + One Colour

Happy Holidays

A Christmas card today sliding in just under the mark, for this weeks Winter Wonderland, Scandinavian Style challenge.

I cut a card base in dark red and I used my cameo for the reindeer, which is an echo park cut, from the silhouette store cut in the same colour as the base. The paper is from dovecraft's, back to basics - traditional, pack and the sentiment is stamped in red ink and was a freebie in a magazine last year. I finished it of with a few gems.

Delightful Challenges, Simple Times!

The Challenge at Delightful Challenges this week is Simple Times, make your card Clean and Simple (CAS)! And we're sponsered by The Charm Barn

I got to play with the brilliant, Driving Mister Scottie! And a sentiment from the Licence Plate Love, sentiment set!

I cut a card base, in black card, coloured my image up with my promarkers and placed them, using dimension pads. I decided to go really embellishment light and added just one little yellow brad in the top corner.

Happy Birthday, Dad

So apparently I'm having way to much fun with my new toy... a friend asked me to make a card for her Dad, for his birthday and the moment she saw this card her response was 'you had fun with your new toy on that didn't you'. I can not tell a lie, I am having just a little too much fun with my new toy, lol.

I used a free digi, from Free Vintage Digi Stamps, lightly inking the edges and used papers from Crafts on the Net, layered on dark brown card. I used my cameo, to cut the sentiment, the tab and the ships wheel all of which came from the silhouette, except the 'Dad' sentiment.

I'm submitting this too:
- Sentimental Sundays #233 - A Touch of Vintage
- Chocolate, Coffee and Cards #73 - Vintage
- Crafty Catz #245 - One for the Boys

HB2U

After having to wait 2 extra days for delievery *shakes fist at Amazon* yesterday, was my first real day to play with my new Silhouette Cameo and I love it! I can't wait to figure out all the fun things I can do with it, but for my first card with it, I stuck to something simple.

I cut the flags and bird with files from the Silhouette store, matting a tall, thin card, with purple, to round out my rainbow colours. The sentiment is also cut with my cameo, using the Impact font. I decided to forgo any embellishments (although I did spend twenty minutes, considering gems... before deciding against it. I find it very hard not to use gems, lol!)

I'm submitting this card for:
- Creative Cutting Challenge #38 - Anything Goes
- Cute Card Thursday #337 - Rainbows
- Dream Valley Challenges #90 - No Stamps Allowed

From All of Us

Two cards in one day, that hasn't happened in a while (although in fairness I did make the other one yesterday, lol!) Expect a lot more christmas cards coming up, because, omg, it's September and I've got none made, other than a few left over from last year, erk!

For this one I used a stamp and sentiment that were freebies in a magazine last year and coloured it with my trusty promarkers. I used papers from Bo Bunny's Silver and Gold Collection, layered on dark green card, finishing with a few little green gems.

I'm submitting this for:
- Freshly Made Sketches #152 - Sketch
- Festive Friday #39 - Inspiration Photo

Thinking Of You

After a few rough weeks - and one gallbladder infection, ugg - I had a nice morning crafting yesterday, while I impatiently await the arrival of my new cameo (Which isn't here yet and believe me, Amazon and I are going to be having strong words about what it means when I book for one day delivery and don't get it!).

Along with a card for next weeks DT card for Delightful Challenges, which you'll all have to wait for... I got this one done, for this weeks Little Miss Muffet Challenge, #93 which is to use Blues and Greens.

I used a Pollycraft image, coloured with my promarkers - nearly all in blues and greens of course - and papers from papermania. Layered it all up on navy blue card, stamped a sentiment from Holly Hobbie, in blue ink and added a few little blue pearls, from my stash.
