New Home

A friend of mine is moving into a new place next week, so I thought I'd quickly throw together a little card, to wish her luck in her new home. Hopefully my german is up to snuff, lol!

I used a cute little image from becky's place and added the sentiment. I coloured it with my promarkers. The papers are from papermania's happy days paper pack, mounted on teal card and a finished it with a few little pearls.

New Home

I used papers from crafts beautiful and an image from beyond the fringe, coloured with promarkers: pear green, marsh green, olive green, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, ruby, duck egg and tea green. The key came with the papers and I cut it out and raised it on demensionals, and added gems to finish.

Home Sweet Home

Appropriate title is appropriate also because I am now 'home sweet home' after a 10 day trip with my Mum to celebrate her 50th Birthday. A good time was had by all, but I'm now going to have to be very disciplined with my craft spending for a few months, because I indulged all her whims and my bank account is looking a little poorer for it! Worth it though, after all, she only turns 50 once (and isn't she glad about that! lol!)

Anyway, now that I'm home - it feels like ages since I've been on here, between the holiday and being ill, I think I've only made about 2 cards in 2 months *eeek!* - time to get back into a routine again though and so I've started today with this card.

The card came from the paper company, the paper and house topper from papercraft inspirations magazine and I added a few gems to finish.

I used sketch #277 from CPS-Card Sketches

Happy Nesting

A last quick card for the day - not for any challenges - just something I had in mind that I wanted to do. I used paper from new leaf by mindy terasawa and the owl and branch digi's are from paper smooches coloured in promarkers - honeycomb, amber, chestnut, henna, caramel, sandstone. The sentiment is computer generated and I finished with a few gems.

New Home

I used First Edition, New Leaf papers by Mindy Terasawa on this card. The image is pollycraft, coloured with promarkers - caramel, sandstone, pear green, mustard, honeycomb and spice. I also sponged in a sky with some light blue papermania ink - it's the first time I've tried doing that and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The sentiment is also a digi stamp, it's from Bird's Cards. And I finished of course with a few gems, including one as a door handle :)

I combined this with the Colour Create Challenge #89 - Light and Dark Browns with Cream and/or White.

Very quick and simply put together with papers from K&Company, a little card from the Paper company and a few pearls from my stash.

Cupcake Craft Challenges #174: Something New

Cupcake Craft Challenges #174 is Something New. I decided to go with a card for a new house!

I am also supposed to Be sure to make us all green with envy by telling us what it is in your post. (lol!) And far be it from me to give up a chance to squee again about all my lovely new craft stuff!

The best new thing I got and used on this that's new is my nesties... they only arrived yesterday, but they are part of my xmas gifts. I love them so much, I only got squares and circles/scalloped squares/circles and I can't wait to get more! I also used some of my new set of promarkers (bright orange and henna are new, the spice and Poppy I already had) to colour in the digi stamp, which came from Beccy's Place and isn't new but is fabulous! The paper isn't new either, it's from Papermania's Birdsong paper pack. But the card stock I used is also new, from Paper Company.
