iSpy Sketches: ISSC09 with Emily Keaton

Slipping in just in time with the sketch from iSpy Sketches this week. It's super cute and I really wanted to make a card with it!

I used freebie papers I got from Crafts beautiful magazine, by Alison Butler. Hand stitched (which I suspect is obvious from the lack of even stitches! doh!) and backed it on black card, then used black and white pearl darning thread together to wrap around and tie a the bow. And finally the sentiment is stampin up. I was very tempted to add gems or pearls, but I really don't think it needed them, even if I really do like adding them *g*

  1. Love the hand stitching and great use of your freebie papers!!! Thanks for playing at I Spy!!!

  2. Fun mixture of papers! Thanks for joining in at ISpy!

  3. I think the 'uneven' stitches totally add to the card!! The paper and little cupcake are adorable...thanks for playing with us this week at iSpy!

  4. I love that you hand stitched your beautiful card! Now that is dedicated!! Thank you for playing along with us over at iSpy Sketches!

    1. Thank you :)

I enjoy the look of handstitching, but it is time-consuming. Which is why I don't do it too often! lol!
