Saturday means "Less is More" and this weeks challenge was for a one layer card - with stripes.
I confess, I sort of wanted to beat my head against a brick wall on seeing this challenge, but after some pondering and a few false starts, this is what I came up with.
It is not what I wanted to do, I had considered a computer generated barcode at first, because I own no suitable stamps, but my printer was being wildly uncooperative this morning, so I had to go by hand.
The flower stamp and sentiment are both from stampin' up - stamped in black papermania ink and I used my black promarker to rule in the lines. It's not perfect, but I actually don't dislike it and with every OLC I make, hopefully I'll get less terrified of them! lol!
really like your take on the challenge it is great - know what you mean about printers lol! sometimes feel like throwing mine out the window!!

What a good idea for your card... you also reminded me that I have a barcode font on my computer, that would have been a good thought. I knew LIMettes would come up with some great ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much

Love this and I know exactly what you mean about banging your head off the wall. I froze at the one layer and then stripes - oh boy :)
