May All Your Wishes Come True
A card for both "Less is More" #80 - One Layer Fur or Feathers and CAS-ual Fridays #65 'Square Cards' Challenge today
I used Colour Box Blue Iris to ink the masked of square and then stamped the birds from Skipping Stones Design's Dandelion Dreams set and embossed them with gold embossing powerder. Stamped and embossed the sentiment from the same set and added a few gems to finish.
I think this could be used for a few different occasions... birthdays is an obvious one, but the sentiment I think would work for something like a wedding/engagement card, or as a good luck to someone moving away, or starting a new venture :)

Birthday Girl
I used a pollycraft image on this card, coloured with my promarkers - poppy, pear green, mustard, caramel, chestnut, dusky rose and blush. The papers are from raspberry road and the card from the paper company. The butterfly stamps are from skipping stone designs, the sentiment a freebie from crafts beautiful magazine and I finished with yellow and red gems from my stash.
I'm submitting this too:
- Sketch 'n Stash #93 - Sketch (see below)
- Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Books & Text
- Milk Coffefe Challenge - Tic, tac, toe (diagonal: 2 or more design papers, digi, bling)
- Fab 'n' Funky #133 - Use pearls of rhinestones
- Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

HB2U
A very CAS card for this weeks Retro Sketches Challenge #23. I masked the card and inked a strip of colour with yellow and orange (and a bit of copper and gold, that doesn't really show on the image) and used some stick on leaves and letters for the HB2U message, adding some stitching to finish.
I'm also submitting this for Sentimental Sundays Challenge #114: Fall

"Less is More" Week 79 - Blue & Green
This weeks "Less is More" challenge #79 is to use Blue&Green together on a card.
I used stamps from Hero Arts (the flower and sentiment) and the bird from Stepping Stones Designs with ink from papermania and finished it off with a blue gem.
Didn't take very long once I decided what I was doing, but that took a while, because I'm so out of practice after so long with very little crafting and I'm only about... 90% happy with it, but it's okay and shall be going as a thank you to a friend who lizard-sat while we were on holiday :)

Home Sweet Home
Appropriate title is appropriate also because I am now 'home sweet home' after a 10 day trip with my Mum to celebrate her 50th Birthday. A good time was had by all, but I'm now going to have to be very disciplined with my craft spending for a few months, because I indulged all her whims and my bank account is looking a little poorer for it! Worth it though, after all, she only turns 50 once (and isn't she glad about that! lol!)
Anyway, now that I'm home - it feels like ages since I've been on here, between the holiday and being ill, I think I've only made about 2 cards in 2 months *eeek!* - time to get back into a routine again though and so I've started today with this card.
The card came from the paper company, the paper and house topper from papercraft inspirations magazine and I added a few gems to finish.
I used sketch #277 from CPS-Card Sketches
And I'm also submitting for Craft Your Passion #122 - Anything Goes

Less is More - Week 76
This weeks "Less is More" challenge was for a one layer card featuring '3' this could be three colours, words, stamps, the number 3, etc...
I love one layer cards, looking at them that is! because I'm horrid at making them, lol! Nevertheless, after two weeks during which I only made one card, it was as good a place as any to start.
The slippers are teddy bo stamps and the sentiment is stampin' up - all stamped in brown papermania ink, I coloured the slippers with my promarkers, in three shades of green - forest, marsh green and pear green.

Snowman
I can't believe it's been nearly two weeks since I posted here! I have been in bed most of the last two weeks with a mild (ha!) case of flu and I'm still not 100%, but I was getting itchy craft fingers and I decided it wasn't really going to expend much energy sitting at the craft desk so I could at least get something done.
I used Echo Park papers for this card and a freebie image from Beccy's Place, coloured with promarkers - ruby, poppy, forest green, chestnut, amber, bright orange and marine.
I'm submitting it for the following challenges:
- iSpy Sketches #23 - Sketch (with Giselle Whittaker)
- Digi Haven #5 - Christmas in July
- Chocolate, Coffee and Cards #16 - Anything Goes
- Craftyhazelnuts Christmas Challenge #80 - Snowmen
- The Pink Elephant Challenge #156 - Christmas in July
