Happy Anniversary

Splash of Blue

This card is for my grandmothers birthday, next week. I used papermania capsule collection papers, layered on black card. The image is a freebie from Beccy's Place and is coloured with promarkers - duck egg, cornflower and china blue.

The sentiment is from me-to-you and I embellished with buttons and gems from my stash and a bow tied from ribbon from Sew Sweet.

I'm submitting this card for:

CAS Baby Girl

A clean and simple card for a baby girl, using some £1 stamps I got ages ago. I used my nesties to cut the holes and kept back the squares to stamp the images onto them, edging them with the same pale pink ink and sticking them to the inside of the card so they would show through the holes. The sentiment is from Stampin' up and I embellished with twine and gems.

I am entering this for:
- Daring Cardmakers - A Hole in One
- Crafty Creations Challenges #175 - Baby, Baby

You're A Hoot

Skating in under the wire for the Willow Sketchie Challenge (sketch below) with this card - I actually made it on Monday, but was horridly icky yesterday and spent most of the day in bed. I used the sketch and one of my favourite colour combos of brown and cream.

The papers are Bo Bunny and New Leaf, the image and sentiment are freebies from paper smooches and I embellished with buttons and gems from my stash.

I'm also submitting this to Chocolate Coffee and Cards #15 - Coffee and Cream

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC57

I used purple and white card stock, cut circles with my nesties from the white and backed some of them with vellum, stamping the vellum with a rose stamp, from one of my little £1 sets and adding a pearl to each. The sentiment is from craft work cards, stamped, off-set and stamped again, without re-inking, to give it a shadow and I used the butterfly embellishment, from make and create.

This card is for:
- CAS-ual Fridays: CFC57 - Clear as Day (use acetate or vellum)
- Everybody Art Challenge #197 - Roses
- Crafts and Me #88 - Pearls and Roses
