Across the Miles

A very quick card using papers from raspberry road and a freebie from papercrafts magazine, I added the wire embellishment across the top from craft bits and then pulled the holly off another to add down the bottom. Those wire embellishments have been sitting in my stash for about 2 years so it was great to finally find a way to use one!

Celebrate the Season

I used papers from raspberry road and an image from crafters companion, coloured with promarkers: poppy, bright orange, spice, terracotta, sandstone, caramel, pear green, marsh green, olive green, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, cool grey 3, cool grey 4 and slate. I cut a swirl with my sizzix dies and added the snowflake and holly embellishments and a couple of gems. the sentiment is also from Crafters Companion, the snowflake is from papermania and I printed out a verse to add inside, using a similar lay out to outside, shrunk down slightly in size and without the embellishments.

Happy Anniversary

I used papermania paper and card from the paper company, the sentiment is from Stampin' Up, some old ribbon from my stash and some new (as in, I bought them three hours ago while I was supposed to be shopping for shoes... oops!) embellishments from make and create - and I finished of with some gems.

Home Improvement

I used paper from We R Memory Keepers, travel light set and an adorable image from digi stamping boutique, coloured with promarkers: buttercup, mustard, honeycomb, spice, pear green, marsh green, caramel, cool grey 3, cornflower, denim blue and dusky rose.

The sentiment is stamped from Flonz and I embellished with ribbon, buttons and twine.

Love Is...

I went white on white for most of this card, with my cuttlebug embossing folders to texture the card and add interest. The sentiment reads: Love is when you look into someon eyes and see their heart - and is pre-printed on vellum that I've had laying around for ages from a magazine. The embellishements are make and create and I used ribbon and pearls from my stash.

You're Awesome

As anyone who will know me can attest, pink is my least favourite colour... however, it's October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I'm going to make the exception. I'm very fortunate, that no one in my family has ever had breast cancer, but it's a horrible disease that kills women of all ages and from all walks of life. If you are a woman, it doesn't matter what age you are... check yourself regularly!

I used bits of paper from my scraps box (I said it's my least favourite colour, not that I never use it, lol) so I have no idea where most of them come from. The image is a pollycraft digi coloured with promarkers: honeycomb, spice, terracotta, rose pink, dusky rose, soft peach, pastle pink, pale pink, ruby, burgandy, blush and pear green. The sentiment is a Smirk stamp, inked in papermania ink. And I embellished with twine, buttons and gems.

Autumn Stag

I used a gorgeous stag image from tlc creations, coloured with promarkers: caramel, cocoa, chestnut, henna pear green, marsh green and olive green. The papers are from raspberry road and the paper studio, matted on kraft card from the paper company. The sentiment is stamped in papermania ink and is from Flonz and I embellished with some leaf stickers, pearls and a bit of twine tied in a bow.
