Kraft and Medium Blue
My plans to see the hobbit tonight were somewhat waylaid, so I thought I might as well use the time productively and get another card in. Maybe if the nausea holds off a while longer, I'll go nuts and do another after this.
I used a freebie image, from Blackberry Jelly and coloured it in shades of blue, before adding glitter to the balls. I used paper from papermania's happy day set and layered everything up on craft card. The sentiment is again, computer generated.
I'm submitting this for:
- Freshly Made Sketches #116 - Sketch
- Dynamic Duos #83 - Kraft and Medium Blue
Jingle Bell Rock
Another xmas card today, this time with an image from Bugaboo. The challenge this week on Catch the Bug was for 'favourite christmas song' and well, mine is a toss up between Fairytale of New York or Jingle Bell Rock, so I've gone with Jingle Bell Rock and used this lovely image of DeDe, coloured with promarkers.
I used paper from dovecraft (yes again, lol) and layered it on red card from papermill direct. Th sentiment is computer generated and I used snowflake embellishments and a few gems to finish it off.
I'm submitting this too:
- Catch the Bug - Favourite Christmas Song
- Sketch Saturday - Use any sketch after #215 (I used #217)
- Crafty Catz #211 - Anything Goes

Bear in Snow
Two cards in one day - wowza, been a while since that's happened! I'm sure it'd be three, but I really should go and make dinner after I post this one, lol!
I used the cute benson, from pollycraft for this card, coloured with promarkers and inked around him with blue ink, before adding glitter glue for a snow effect.
The paper is from dovecraft (it's possible I've been using it quite a bit since I bought it on Monday, but its just such a cute pack!) and the sentiment is computer generated. I embellished with just a few little gems.
I'm submitting this for:
- Sketch 'N Stash #127 - Sketch
- Craft your Passion #192 - Let it Snow
- Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #197 - Snowflakes

Frohe Festtage!
I picked a lovely image from Angel's Landing for my card today, added the sentiment around it on the computer and printed and coloured it with my promarkers. The paper is from dovecraft, layered on dark green card from papermill direct. And I used twine and pearls to embellish.

Seasons Greetings, For A Special Mum
An important holiday card today... for my Mum.
My Mum loves reindeers - seriously, you have no idea how many reindeers are in this house... pictures, ornaments etc. And they triple at this time of year, lol! So that I'd use a reindeer image was a no brainer and I picked this adorable little image from Whimsie Doodle and added a sentiment around it, using the computer before printing and colouring with my promarkers.
The paper is from dovecraft, layered on red card from the papermill. I added, red twine, gems and a charm (another freebie) for embellishment.
I'm submitting this for:
- Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #154 - For Someone Special
- Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra - Anything Christmas Goes

Westie in a Stocking
This is probably the 3rd of 4th card I've made for a challenge this month and the only one I've actually remembered to post so far, lol!
I used the lovely westie in a stocking image from Delicious Doodles - I love this image, as I actually have a westie, so I always think of him when I use it! I coloured him with promarkers and mounted him on a red card base. The papers are from Dovecraft's Back to Basics Christmas paper pack - and I used gems, twine and a lovely little freebie charm I got in card making and papercraft to embellish.
I'm submitting this for:

Seasons Greetings
Okay, so I think I've figured out a way to get more crafty time in... do it first thing in the morning, before I'm too tired to even think about it... (I mean, I don't really need to *think* while doing housework anyway, right ;)) - I figure I can get away with it a few times a week maybe, as long as I don't over do it.
I used Kaiser Craft Papers and a gorgeous digi from Delicious Doodles, coloured with promarkers - warm grey 1, warm grey 2, cool grey 3, cool grey 4, burgundy, crimson, almond, vanilla, sandstone, pear green and marsh green. Stamped the greeting in black ink and added gems and a snowflake embellishment to finish.
I'm submitting this for:

New Baby
Wow it has been forever! The last few months have been a series of one health problem after another and a lot of doctors and tests that have resulted in a lot of treating the symptoms with no idea what the underlying cause is. I have full appreciation for the NHS and for everything the doctors have been trying, but oh how I wish they'd just figure out whats causing it all, so I can go back to whatever passes for normal for me.
One of the big problems is that I'm so constantly exhausted, some days I barely have the energy to do the stuff I *have* to do, never mind the stuff I want to do, which means crafting has been pretty much none existent and I haven't been looking at the challenges at all... but do I miss crafting, so I decided to have a gander at some of the challenges this week and this is what I came up with...
I used jillibean soup papers - homemade 6 bean soup - the giraffe stamp is from Flonzcraft and the sentiment stamp was a freebie from a magazine. Layered them all up on red card and mounted on a white card base.
I used the sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches and the animals theme from Charisma Cardz this week, as my inspriration.
Even though this is a very simple card, after so long not making anything it was a lot of fun to get something done again, now I just have to find time - or say screw it to the housework and make time, lol - where I'm not so exhausted, to make more than one card every 3 months!

"True Love Stories Never End"
It's been a few weeks since I've been on and real life has been hectic - my Mum had surgery on a brain aneurysm, amongst more general madness. She's going pretty well now, so I had a bit of time to dedicate to some crafting and made this card.
I used teresa collins fabrications papers layered on brown card. The image is from Spesch Stamps, coloured with promarkers: sandstone, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, blush, soft peach, dusky rose, pastle pink, pear green, marsh green, olive green, sky blue, shale, cool grey 4, slate, honeycomb, spice, terracotta, lilac, lavender and amethyst.
Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite fairytales (and disney movies, lol!)
I used lace, a button, flower and pearls to embellish, as well as a cute little key/heart charm.
I think this will end up being an anniversary card for two friends who's anniversary is in September. She loves Disney and will appreciate it for that alone and luckily, the husband isn't the sort to take offence at being cast as 'the beast' *g*

The papers are from Authentique's Fresh paper pack, layered on navy blue card from papermill direct. The sentiment is computer generated. And I used bakers twine, charms and pearls to embellish.

Birthday Wishes
Because the universe isn't entirely finished messing with me this year, I've developed an eye infection... *grumps* luckily I caught it early before it started affecting my vision, but it's still somewhat irritating... in a bid to ignore the annoyingness, I decided to get some crafting done and my nausea behaved long enough for me to do this card.
I used a stunning image from make it crafty and coloured her with promarkers: mond, blush, soft peach, coral, pear green, marsh green, olive green, sky blue, denim blue, china blue and tea green. The paper is from Teresa Collin's Fabrication pad, layered on navy blue card from papermill direct.
I used the x-cut lace punch on the bottom of the yellow panel. The sentiment is computer generated and I used pearls and ribbon from my stash to embellish.
