I've never done paper piecing before, it was something I'd always seen and thought about trying but never gotten around to, so this was a good excuse to get down to it!
I used some bits of scrap papers left over from other projects - the pink paper is K&Company and the red (which is red honestly, even if my camera doesn't think so) is from Papermania - and a freebie stamp from um... one of the magazines I get... (possibly the lack of memory suggests I get too many!) - I did use promarkers to colour the plate and candles though. The sentiment came from the same set, stamped in pink papermania ink, I coloured partially with a ruby promarker.
I then ran some white card through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder, added some pink ribbon and layered it all up with dimensional's and added a few pearls.
I'm also submitting this for Cupcake Craft Challenge #178 Pink and Red.
Your paper piecing came out great! I hope you'll join me again this week at 52 Card Pickup!
