Sending Sweet Birthday Wishes

I made this card for my cousins little girl, who turns six later this year. She's a typical kid who loves sweets and lollies and chocolate! (let's face it, I'm not a kid and I love them too! lol!)

The image is from Pollycraft, coloured with my promarkers and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers were freebies in some magazine or another at some point and were layered on red card. I added a little pink/white twine, a punched heart and some gems to finish it off.

I'm submitting this for:
- Passion for ProMarkers #305 - Candy Crush
- Inspiration Destination #42 - Anything Goes
- Sweet Sketch Wednesday #61 - Sketch
- Little Miss Muffet #116 - Anything Goes
- My Sheri Crafts #161 - Childs Birthday

Flying Roxter, Birthday Card

Look a card, yay! I spent yesterday afternoon in my craft room and (all being well!) plan to spend most of the weekend in there too! So there should be more soon!

This card uses Flying Roxter, from Digital Delights, coloured with my promarkers. The papers are from Pebbles Inc, Love You More/Boy Pack, layered on chocolate brown card. Cut the clouds - including the computer generated sentiment - on my silhouette and added a few little gems to finish.

It's been so long since I've submitted to any challenges, hopefully I still remember how this goes!

Boys Card

Two cards in a week, will wonders never cease... but I'm determined to kick nausea in the rear and get back to doing some crafting at least a few times a week, even if I can't work up to where I was at before.

Today we have a boys birthday card, using an image from pollycraft, coloured with promarkers: cinnamon, cocoa, blush, soft peach, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, slate, poppy, berry red, crimson and black.

The papers are all from my scraps box - in fact, except for cutting the card base I didn't use anything 'new' - and I used stickers for the sentiment.

I left it otherwise completely embellishment free, which is novel for me!

I'm submitting this for:
- Cards in Envy - Sketch #4
- Creative Creations #10 - For a Child
- Craft Your Passion #162 - Child's Play
- Oh La La Challenge Blog - Seeing Red
- Clear it Out Challenge - Anything Goes + Use two or more patterned papers

Happy Holidays Ethan

A couple of weeks ago I made a christmas card for my godson, today I made one for his baby brother. He'll be 2 just a month before x-mas and I found these adorable santa baby images from Digi Doodle Shop, so I just had to use one for his card. It is coloured with promarkers: ruby, poppy, caramel, sandstone, spice, terracotta, blush, rose pink and denim blue.

The papers are from echo park as are the sentiment, letter embellishments and the red 'bumpy' row along the bottom, which was a sticker from echo park. I used a corner punch on the corners and embellished with some ribbon, gems and glitter glue.

I'm submitting this for:
- C.R.A.F.T Challenge #173 - Children
- Totally Paper Crafts #135 - For A Child
- Stampavie and More #177 - Sparkling
- Sketch Saturday #226 - Sketch

Merry Christmas Kyle

I decided to make my godson's Christmas card today, he and his little brother (who's card I'll make another day) are the apples of my eye, so I always like to do something special for them.

I used echo park papers for this card, with an image from pollycraft, coloured with promarkers: pear green, marsh green, poppy, sandstone, caramel and blush.

The letters and toppers also came from echo park and I added some ribbon, a sentiment (that I think comes from dandelion and daisy) and the little x-mas tree gem to finish.

I am submitting this for:
- Willow Sketchie Challenge - Sketch (I flipped it)/Favorite Festive Colours (I know, red/green is so obvious and traditional but there is something to be said for tradition!)

Birthday Boy

A card today, specially made for my friends soon to be 2 year old son.

I used a mix of papers from Jenny Ellory, matted on dark blue card. The image is from Pollycraft, coloured with promarkers:cornflower, china blue, poppy, sandstone and caramel.

Used some ribbon, gems, buttons and some charms from my stash - I can't remember where any of them came from, but I've had the charms for *ages* just waiting to use them.

The Birthday Boy sentiment is from crafts beautiful magazine - I think the number 2 came from papermania.

The image is a free digi stamp from Sliekje, coloured with promarkers - sandstone, buttercup, vanilla, blush, mustard, lime green, canary, bright orange, poppy, spice, duck egg and rose pink.

I used my x-cut lace trim edge punch on the center strip and added the sentiment that I think comes from papermania. Then added a couple of felt flowers and gems to embellish.

It's Yaar Birthday

I originally printed the background scene on this from Birds Cards for a different challenge, but I didn't have time to make that card, so I decided to use it today. I printed the pirate from Pollycraft to go along with it and coloured them both with promarkers - cornflower, duck egg, china blue, marine, chestnut, henna, sandstone, caramel, buttercup, mustard, canary, blush, lime green, pear green, amber and bright orange, sponging in the sky with light blue pigment ink from papermania.

The papers were freebies from Craft's Beautiful magazine a couple of months ago and I layered it all on blue card, using dimensionals to give the scene and the pirate a little extra lift. The sentiment is computer generated and I added some gems to finish, including one as an earring for my intrepid little pirate :)

I'm submitting this to:

Hoppy Birthday

I was uncertain about this card right up until the moment it was finished, when I decided that actually, I rather like it!

I used papers from Raspberry Road Designs Summer Goodness paper back layered on dark green card. The image is from pollycraft coloured with promakers - Marsh Green, Forest Green, Apple, Lime Green, Pear Green Blush and Caramel. I cut circles and scalloped circles with my nesties and x-cut flower dies and scrunged them, before layering them and adding a pearl, to make three flowers. The sentiment is computer generated coloured in pear green.

I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp #104 - Donna's Sketch:
