Thanks A Latte

*waves frantically*

Back from my holiday! Actually got home last Tuesday but I was exhausted the first couple of days and then I got my new car on the road on Friday (after passing my test three days before I went on holiday!) and spent the weekend getting the hang of driving it (I learned in a diesel and the clutch isn't as forgiving on a petrol, lol!) and getting sorted with various things I needed to sort for it! But now I can relax a bit and get some crafting done!

I used Fiskars stamps for this card, from the Latte Love stamp set. Coloured of course with my promarkers. I cut the card base and banner on my cameo. Popped the white stamped layer up on foam pads and the banner on pads too. And finally added a few gems to finish.

Relax...

It's almost the right weather for this card today, we actually have a little bit of sunshine - not sure how long it'll last! but it's there atm!

I cut the sunburst card base on my cameo and backed it with paper from Fancy Pants Designs, The Good Life pack. The bear lounging so comfortably is from Just Ink Lined and was coloured with my promarkers. The sentiment was also cut on my cameo. I left it otherwise embellishment free - very odd for me not to use gems or pearls! lol!

Mr & Mrs Congratulations

You know, wedding cards are just not something I often make. I think it's a combination of the fact most of my friends are either already married or confirmed hermits who want nothing to do with getting married (lol!) and the fact that I never know entirely what to *do* for them. But when I saw this sketch come up, I instantly had an idea!

This is very CAS for me! I never feel my CAS cards quite pull off as well as I'd like, I'm definitely more of a layers crafter, but I think this works nicely!

The bride and groom were cut on my cameo and the sentiment is computer generated. I kept the embellishments just as simple, with a charm and a few little white pearls.

We're The Perfect Blend

A wonderful friend of mine, who knows my coffee addiction well sent me this awesome Latte Love set from Fiskars a few months ago and this is to my eternal shame, the first time it's seen ink!

I cut a card base in brown and used paper from My Minds Eye. Coloured the stamps in with my promarkers and added a little heart button, some twine and a couple of little gems. It literally took me longer to decide which of the coffee stamps to use first, than to make the whole card, lol!

please sir, can I have s'more?

Because I can't resist a good pun! Or a bad one! lol! And becase CASology's cue card for the week is 'EAT'

I cut the s'more on my silhouette and printed the sentiment. I used a kraft card base and because I couldn't help myself, added a few little pearls. Took more time waiting for the s'more to cut than anything else, lol!

Noel

A nice CAS card today, for the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I used a freebie stamp I got from Quick Cards magazine, (last year? the year before? ish? lol!) and coloured it with my promarkers. Cut a red base card, matted the image on green and added twine, a button and gems to finish it off.

Cherry Blossoms

Another quick CAS card for the day. The minute I saw this gorgeous cut file from Birds Cards, I knew I had to use it, so it was at the top of my list the minute my cameo arrived... can't believe it took me four days to use it really, lol!

The card was cut in black and I layed white card behind it. I cut the flowers in pink and added them, with some gems. The sentiment is stamped in black ink, from the Marion Emberson Designs - On Your Special Day set.

I'm submitting this card for:
- Addicted to CAS #47 - Codeword: Oriental
- CAS on Sunday #41 - Black & White + One Colour

Happy Holidays

A Christmas card today sliding in just under the mark, for this weeks Winter Wonderland, Scandinavian Style challenge.

I cut a card base in dark red and I used my cameo for the reindeer, which is an echo park cut, from the silhouette store cut in the same colour as the base. The paper is from dovecraft's, back to basics - traditional, pack and the sentiment is stamped in red ink and was a freebie in a magazine last year. I finished it of with a few gems.

Delightful Challenges, Simple Times!

The Challenge at Delightful Challenges this week is Simple Times, make your card Clean and Simple (CAS)! And we're sponsered by The Charm Barn

I got to play with the brilliant, Driving Mister Scottie! And a sentiment from the Licence Plate Love, sentiment set!

I cut a card base, in black card, coloured my image up with my promarkers and placed them, using dimension pads. I decided to go really embellishment light and added just one little yellow brad in the top corner.

Purple Flowers

After an annoyingly busy week I finally had some time this afternoon to get a card done! Yay!

I cut a purple card base, layered it in white, then die cut some squares in white and purple, corner punched the white and stamped the cute little flowers from Sarah Williams, colouring them with my promarkers. I added the sentiment from stampin' up and then finished with two little pearls.

Perk Up!

Another CAS card this afternoon, inspired this time, by this weeks Freshly Made Sketches.

The coffee cup was stamped and cut out, from Stampin' Up's Perfect Cup set - a slightly belated birthday gift from a friend, that arrived just yesterday *g* - paired with a sentiment from the Stampin' Up, Morning Cup set.

I used a brown card base with papers from Papermania's Happy Day's paper pack and a little daffodil delight card. Pieced the cup sleeve with DP. And embellished with a grey button, some twine and a few gems, finishing off by using a corner punch on the bottom corners of the card.

Add A Little Colour

As soon as I saw the sketch for CAS on Sunday, I knew exactly what I wanted to use for it - these adorable freebie digi's and sentiment from The Alley Way. I cut the base card in daffodil delight and printed the sentiment and brushes, cutting the brushes out individually.

I used cotton balls to apply some ink to the white panel, and coloured the brushes to match with my promarkers, mounting the little brushes on dimensions pads, adding a quick bit of colour to the sentiment as well and finishing of course, with a few gems.

Have A Dawg-Gawn Great Day

Another quick card this afternoon.

The dog image is a freebie digi from The Alley Way stamps, coloured with promarkers (sandstone, caramel and slate) the sentiment I wrote and printed myself.

I mounted the three images on black card, added a twine bow and a couple of small gems, before mounting the panel on dimensional stickers, on a kraft card base.

Paws-itively Purr-fect Day

A quick CAS card this afternoon, using a little digi from Angel's landing. The paper is from Papermania's Happy Days paper pack and I used a kraft card base. I lightly distressed the edges of the paper and the die cut circle, cut a fish tail flag, with my mft dies and coloured the paw print with a khaki promarker and then, because I can't resist gems or pearls, finished with a few pearls.

Fa la la la la la la la...

A quick CAS x-mas card today! I usd a stamp that came as a freebie in a magazine last year and coloured them with promarkers - ruby, caramel and cinnamon. The sentiment stamp, I think is from papermania and a few gems and some twine to finish it.

Congratulations

A quick CAS card today. I cut a teal card base and layered it with white. Used a strip of grey pattered paper from Authentique.

The peacock is stamped in teal ink from papermania and the sentiment in dark grey from me-to-you. I punched a butterfly from the grey patterned paper and added a few gems to finish it off.

I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch! and the colours from Dynamic Duos, Basic Grey + Your Choice.
