Immediately when I saw what the challenge was I thought of Empire Records, which is one of my all time favourite films - I've seen it so often I can quote parts from memory, lol! - and Joe the store manager of the titular Empire Records has a drum kit in his office on which he takes out some frustrations playing ACDC's 'If You Want Blood (You Got It)'.
I had to go purchase a new digi for this as I didn't have one suitable, so I got Pollycraft's 'Jerry Kisses - Drummer' - totally worth the pennies, as I'd pretty much buy everything on there if I could! And of course I coloured it with my ProMarkers - Poppy, Cornflower, China Blue, Black, Cool Grey 3, Cool Grey 4, Blush and Spice.
I used a 5x5 card base, cut the image with my nesties and cut a black scalloped circle with my nesties as well, to mount it. I cut a strip of paper from the We R Memory Keepers Travel Light set also mounted on some black card from the Paper Company. Cut a banner and stamped the Stampin' Up sentiment.
Usually I finish things up with little gems, etc but in this case I think it looks better without, so I left it un-embellished.
In other news I recently ordered a stamp from vista print to mark the back of my cards and it came this morning even though the original estimated delivery date was the 18th February - so chuffed with it! - now I can stamp the back of my cards instead of having to sprint stickers :-)
I like that movie too! This card is so cute and perfect for the movie challenge. The pink drums rock!
