Congratulations
Yesterday was a singularly unproductive day, as I woke with a blinding headache and sneezing my head off (which in no way helped the headache!) Somewhat better today, at least not sneezing, so got a GP appointment out of the way and enjoyed a nice lunch with a friend before coming home and settling into my craft room.
I used a gorgeous image from Just Inked Lines for this card, coloured with my promarkers. The sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from My Minds Eye, In Bloom pack, layered on grey card. I used some organza ribbon, tied into a bow and wrapped around my layers, some flowers and a die cut leaf flourish, cut on my cameo and finished it off with some pearls.
I'm submitting this for:
- Scrap & Craft #12 - Wedding
- Fantasy Stampers Challenge #42 - Lots of Layers
- Glitter n Sparkle #148 - Anything Goes
- Passion for ProMarkers #308 - Summer Lovin'
- Top Tip Tuesday - Ribbon and Pearls

Mr & Mrs Congratulations
You know, wedding cards are just not something I often make. I think it's a combination of the fact most of my friends are either already married or confirmed hermits who want nothing to do with getting married (lol!) and the fact that I never know entirely what to *do* for them. But when I saw this sketch come up, I instantly had an idea!
This is very CAS for me! I never feel my CAS cards quite pull off as well as I'd like, I'm definitely more of a layers crafter, but I think this works nicely!
The bride and groom were cut on my cameo and the sentiment is computer generated. I kept the embellishments just as simple, with a charm and a few little white pearls.
I'm submitting this for:
- Creative Corner Challenges - Wedding Bells Are Ringing
- Crazy 4 Challenges #295 - Sketch
- Fab 'n Funky - No Patterned Papers
- The Crazy Challenge - Monochromatic

Digital Delights Challenge! Swirls and Curls!
Oh dear, late posting again. Ended up at the GP this morning, stupid gallbladder pain and didn't get to post!
The Challenge at Delightful Challenges this week is Swirls and Curls, (Use something swirly or curly)! And we're sponsered by Yours or Mine!
I got to play with the brilliant, Bride and Groom! And a sentiment from the Wedding and Anniversary Sentiment Set!

I got some awesome Christmas papers recently from First Edition - the Gilded Winter papers and I 'snuck' them onto this card, even though it's a wedding card, because I decided it would look good! The image is coloured with fairly pale colours and I cut a swirl with my silhouette and used some paper flowers.
Don't forget to go over to the Digital Delights Challenge Blog and check out what the rest of the Design Team has done this week and enter your own card!
And check out the website for more fabulous Digital Delights by loobyloo.

Delightful Challenges! Bling It On
The Challenge at Delightful Challenges this week is Bling It On!, Add some bling to your creation! And we're sponsered by (Cut 'n Paste Memories)!
I got to play with the brilliant, Love Birds! And a sentiment from the Love is in the Air, Sentiment Set!

I used papers from First Editions J'adore pack, distressed them by running scissors over the edges, crinkling them up, and brushing them up a bit with an ink pad. Coloured up my image with my promarker then added my bling, with some red and clear gems around the heart.

Congratulations, On Your Wedding Day
It's been simply ages since I've done a wedding card and I don't even know anyone who is getting married any time soon, but I recently bought this adorable image from bugaboo when I was having a little spending spree and I just had to use it!
I added the computer generated sentiment, coloured the image with my promarkers and paired it with papers from First Choice's j'adore set - what better for a wedding card? - distressing, ripping and scrunching the paper.
I embellished fairly simply with a little heart embellishment I had stashed in my embellishment box, some pearls, a butterfly punch and a little safty pin and button brad, from stampin up.
I'm submitting this for:
- Sunday Sketch & Stamp #209 - Sketch
- Oh La La Challenge Blog #157 - Bear it All
- Craft Your Passion Challenge #216 - Rip It! Tear It!
- Paper Makeup Stamps #143 - Anything Goes

Black, White and Grey
I am very much over valentines and it's not even here yet, lol, but while we're on the love theme, I thought I'd go for a wedding card, after all, what says love more than deciding to spend the rest of your life with someone!
I used paper from Authentique's Fresh collection layered on black card from papermill direct. Used my nesties to cut and emboss the image from Pollycraft, before colouring it with promarkers: black, slate, cool grey 4, cool grey 3, shale, caramel, sandstone, gold, mustard, buttercup, vanilla, blush, almond and soft peach.
The sentiment is from stampin' up and I embellished with a few pearls, some twine and a heart charm.
I'm submitting this too:
1. A Die for A Sketch #9 - Sketch
2. Twisted Tuesday Challenge #43 - Couples, Black Tie Event (A card for a couple, with black)

On Your Special Day
I cut a card base in lime, added a panel of white over the top. Used paper from Authentique's Fresh collection and stamped the flowers from Marion Emberson Designs in Lime Pastel ink from colourbox - it's not as bold as I'd like, but it was the only lime ink I had and it works pretty well (even more so in person than on the picture).
The sentiment is from the same set and I added three lime gems from my stash.
I'm submitting this for:
- Retro Sketches #47 - Sketch
- Just Us Girls #172 - Lime Green, White and Gray

Love Is...
I went white on white for most of this card, with my cuttlebug embossing folders to texture the card and add interest. The sentiment reads: Love is when you look into someon eyes and see their heart - and is pre-printed on vellum that I've had laying around for ages from a magazine. The embellishements are make and create and I used ribbon and pearls from my stash.
I'm submitting this for:
- Creative Inspirations #183 - Sketch
- My Mum's Craft Shop #78 - Love is All Around
- Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #141 - No Patterned Paper
- Craft Your Passion #131 - Hip to be Square

Special Day
I printed a bunch of these chandelier silhouettes from Sherry K Designs a few months ago, but only got around to using one. Then I made This card the other day for LiM and decided I really like it and it could work wonders with the silhouettes!
I just love these chandeliers for wedding/anniversary cards - in fact the card I sent my sister for her anniversary had one of these on it! So I decided on a wedding card, then decided to go long and tall and replace the splash of lime in the original card with some dark purple, which is one of my favourite colours.
I really like the effect of the image cut into quarters and it's so simple, I can change the colour up to match someones wedding colours if I repeated the card again - and I probably will, because I love how simple and elegant those chandelier's are!
I'm going to submit this to My Mum's Craft Shop #71 - it's my second entry for their Wedding/Anniversary Challenge. And the new Challenges 4 Everybody #1 - Anything Goes

Congratulations
I used white card and cut diagonal strips, before embossing them with different embossing folders and layering them on top of another bit of card, along with a strip of silver ribbon and used dimension pads to place it on the base card.
The sentiment is from stampabilities and was embossed with silver embossing powder. And I added the two dove embellishments and some pearls to finish.

May All Your Wishes Come True
A card for both "Less is More" #80 - One Layer Fur or Feathers and CAS-ual Fridays #65 'Square Cards' Challenge today
I used Colour Box Blue Iris to ink the masked of square and then stamped the birds from Skipping Stones Design's Dandelion Dreams set and embossed them with gold embossing powerder. Stamped and embossed the sentiment from the same set and added a few gems to finish.
I think this could be used for a few different occasions... birthdays is an obvious one, but the sentiment I think would work for something like a wedding/engagement card, or as a good luck to someone moving away, or starting a new venture :)

For The Newlyweds
I printed this adorable image from pollycraft ages ago intending to use it for a different card, but changed my mind at the last moment, so it's been sitting on my drawer ever since! I coloured it with promarkers - sandstone, caramel, rose pink, almond and vanilla.
The papers are from papermania's capsule collections and I layered on craft card. Used some ribbon from sew sweet and a few gems to embellish.
I'm submitting this for:
- My Time To Craft #182 - Weddings
- Dude Time Doodles - Weddings/Anniversaries
- Skipping Stones Design #133 - Sketch (see below)
- Card Crafters Circle #28 - Weddings
- Paper Crafting Journey - Feeling Krafty

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC56
The challenge this week on CAS-ual Fridays is to use Polka Dots! I hmm'd and haa'd a bit over some of my polka dot papers, but in the end, settled on my old favourite, the swiss dots embossing folder! I cut a piece of white card, smaller than my base card and scored it with my scor-board before running it through the cuttlebug so that the scored section remained untouched.
I then backed the embossed card onto a pale yellow card and added the hearts and doves - these came from the Works craft section! - and the sentiment from stampin' up, along with some gems to under pin the sentiment and just add that bit of extra bling!
As well as submitting this for casual fridays, I'd like to submit it too:
Emergency Crafters - Butterflies, Birds or Anything with Wings
Crafty Creations Challenges #173 - Wedding or Anniversary

Heart of Gold
This card started out life in my brain as something else entirely... but then I changed everything about it and suddenly, this is what I had! lol! I used New Leaf paper by Mindy Terasawa, black card - and used my new x-cut lace trim board punch. The stamps are from a couple of sets I got for £1 ages ago - embossed with gold powder. The sentiment is stampin' up, the ribbon is Laura Ashley and I finished with a few gems from my stash.
I used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch #237:
And am also submitting it for:
- Fussy and Fancy Friday #61 - Punches and Dies. Obviously, because I used my nesties to cut my circles :)
- C.R.A.F.T Challenge #151 - Wedding/Anniversary
