Slipping in just in time with the sketch from iSpy Sketches this week. It's super cute and I really wanted to make a card with it!
I used freebie papers I got from Crafts beautiful magazine, by Alison Butler. Hand stitched (which I suspect is obvious from the lack of even stitches! doh!) and backed it on black card, then used black and white pearl darning thread together to wrap around and tie a the bow. And finally the sentiment is stampin up. I was very tempted to add gems or pearls, but I really don't think it needed them, even if I really do like adding them *g*
Love the hand stitching and great use of your freebie papers!!! Thanks for playing at I Spy!!!
ReplyDeleteFun mixture of papers! Thanks for joining in at ISpy!
ReplyDeleteI think the 'uneven' stitches totally add to the card!! The paper and little cupcake are adorable...thanks for playing with us this week at iSpy!
ReplyDeleteI love that you hand stitched your beautiful card! Now that is dedicated!! Thank you for playing along with us over at iSpy Sketches!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI enjoy the look of handstitching, but it is time-consuming. Which is why I don't do it too often! lol!
